The video starts as Carmen is mixing the bleach. Kat, already in the salon chair and covered with a purple nylon cape. Carmen wraps a neckstrip and a towel around her neck. She then applies a cream around Kat's hairline to avoid skin staining. With Carmen wearing her hair in rollers and a net, black latex gloves, and a black chemical gown, Carmen applies bleach on Kat's short bobbed hair. Carmen leaves Kat for awhile for her hair to process. When Carmen checks it later, the bleaching volume 40 isn't taking affect fast enough, so Carmen adds bleach volume 20. While waiting to her hair to process again, Kat has some fun showing off her slicked bleached hair and Carmen's box full of capes. (She does not try on any of the capes because she was afraid to get bleach on them). Once the bleach has finally processed, Kat's hair is rinsed out, and she sits under the chair hair dryer for a bit. When the hair is slightly damp, Carmen brushes on the purple haircolor. Kat shows off purple hair while it processes. Soon the color is set, and Kat sits in the shampoo chair for a rinse, shampoo, and conditioning. After a brief towel drying, Carmen styles Kat's lovely purple hair a couple of different ways. She also clippers Kat's nape as the finishing touch. The purple cape is removed and a satin pink combout cape covers Kat for the last adorable hairstyle.
