At Carmen's salon, she gives me a stacked perm. Starting with a lovely shampoo and then wrapping my hair in gray and pink perm rods. Carmen coats my hair with perm solution and covers my head with two plastic bags. While waiting for the perm to process, I read a few magazines.
Time's up! Carmen removes all the perm rods out of my hair and then leans the salon chair back into the shampoo bowl for the cooling neutralizer rinse. After a quick towel drying, Carmen brushes through my hair and notices that one side is much longer than the other. Not a problem. With her comb and scissors, she'll make sure that my hair is cut shorter into a stacked bubble perm.
