Sitting in my barber chair after a long day at work, I dream about a pixie haircut, like all the other gals have at work. After brushing my hair out, I lean back into the vintage barber chair and close my eyes.
Soon, there's a knock at the door. It's James, one of my favorite hair stylists! He stopped by since he was in the neighborhood.
I ask if he could give me a short haircut, and he agrees. He grabs a pink PVC cape and covers me, and then wraps a paper neck strip around my neck.
James flicks the classic Oster 76 electric clippers to life and trims off the blonde ends. But I want my hair shorter.
This time, he begins right below my ears. About halfway through the bob haircut, he switches out the pink PVC cape for the red PVC cape. Ooooh, it matches my tie!
After the bob haircut, James brushes my hair for several minutes. It felt so wonderful. My spine tingled and I got goosebumps.
We both decided to take a water break, which I clumsy spill water on myself, after the red cape was being removed. Since I can't sit in a wet shirt, and this shirt had a stain in it anyway, I asked James just to cut the shirt off. He did with a large scissors.
After the pixie haircut, I got an upright shampoo (no rinse). James the stylist gave me a lathery shampoo mohawk.
After the camera pans over all my hair on the floor, you see me with the pixie haircut, where I talk about the future of my haircut as I slick my hair back with hair gel.
