Susan takes a seat in the studio to talk about her nearly-waist-long hair before stepping into the salon for a short shag haircut. After she sits down in the barber chair, the stylist, James William, brushes out her hair to free it of any tangles, and then sections it off into four ponytails, securing them with zip-ties.
Once the ponytails are cut off with a scissors, the barber chair reclines back into the shampoo bowl for a shampoo and rinse. Her hair is soon toweled briefly, and a neck strip and white cape wrapped around Susan's neck. Her brunette hair is sectioned and then cut with scissors and a razor. Shorn hair falls onto the cape and floor. Susan's resulting layered hairstyle is quite short with fringe. James blow dries her hair while brushing it, giving the hair extra body.
Susan is happy with her new look, and the camera Split screen footage is used sparingly. At times you'll see Kat the videographer, who is sporting a bob haircut with a neatly trimmed nape.
