Sharla, in a green dress and long flowing brunette tresses, takes a seat in the barber chair for a short crop. After being caped with a green cape and neck strip wrapped around her neck, her hair is combed out, and the back put into a ponytail. The ponytail is then cut off with the Oster 76 clippers.
While long hair remains in the front, the stylist shortens up the back. Precision cutting is done with a scissors and comb. When the front long hair does come off, it tumbles down the cape and onto the floor. Sharla is given sideburns and sweeping bangs, which is done with a straight-edge razor. Just when the stylist thinks that he's done, Sharla calls him back to cut it shorter in places.
She repeatedly runs her fingers in her short hair, making sure that it's as short as she wants it. "Shorter" she again says. The client is always right.
The haircut portion of this video is about 28 minutes long. Unedited footage of this haircut process from two cameras is also included, for a total of 1 hour and 23 minutes of viewing.
